"I wanted to do something special for my mom to commemorate my grandmother for my upcoming wedding. Her birthday was October 1 and I was getting married October 2 so it was extra special. Anna made a beautiful bracelet with "Love Always" in my grandmother's handwriting. My mom absolutely loved it (tears upon opening!). "My grandfather was my father by all measures but bloodlines. Since I was a little girl, I dreamed of him walking me down the aisle. I was a definite (grand)daddy's girl, and I craved these father-daughter moments with him. "My maternal grandparents and I were incredibly close, and both became ill around the same time in the summer of 2012. They moved in with my parents and sister, and I spent most weekends commuting from my apartment in Philadelphia to my family home in central New Jersey to be with them. My grandpa passed away that December, but my grandma was doing much better than he had been. When I got engaged in March 2013, she was so excited, and this gave her something to fight for. We planned an engagement party just so that she could be there to celebrate, knowing that there was a good chance she would not be at the wedding. Unfortunately, she gave up that fight in February 2014. Soon after, my sister and aunt decided to get tattoos of my grandma's handwriting to honor both her and my grandpa, as we found the words "Love Always" in cards she wrote out from both of them. I knew my grandma well, and I don't think she would have liked the idea of a tattoo, and honestly neither did I for me personally, as I am training to be in a professional field and would not want it visible (it looks great on them, though!), so I searched and searched until I found a good compromise, which was, of course, this bracelet. I ordered one for me and one for my aunt's daughter, my grandparents' youngest grandchild."

The necklace is for my friend, Taylor and the signature is her father's. Taylor is getting married October 4, 2014 and although she has a very wonderful step-father to walk her down the aisle, the bridesmaids wanted to make sure that her father would be a part of the big day as well. Taylor's dad, John, passed away May 19, 2009 from a case of swine flu that he contracted after visiting Mexico. Taylor was about 5 months pregnant when her dad was ill in the hospital and the doctors forbade her from seeing him in fear that she and the baby would get ill. John was in a medically induced coma and the only way for Taylor to be with her dad was for someone else to be in the room playing the recordings that Taylor created especially for him. Doctors and other family members saw significant changes in his heart rate on the monitor when the recordings were played. Knowing that John recognized her voice helped Taylor cope with not being able to see her father at the most critical time in his life. Upon passing, Taylor and John's sisters got tattoos of John's signature. Even though there is a piece of her dad permanently with Taylor, the tattoo is on Taylor's ankle, which is likely to not be seen during the wedding. Therefore, we thought the necklace would be the perfect touch and a heartfelt gift to give to Taylor on her wedding day. Thanks so much for the work you do and I look forward to seeing the necklace.
