Non-custom orders typically ship on Mondays, via the shipping method selected. For custom orders, ship dates are noted on the individual product pages. International ship times vary depending on customs procedures.
Packages may be subject to import tax upon arrival, for which Brevity is not responsible. While UPS packages are more easily tracked than USPS, UPS import taxes tend to be significantly higher than USPS, so please select your shipping accordingly. We are unfortunately unable to provide an estimate of the import tax.

Non-custom items that are returned within 30 days from the order date are eligible for a refund, if in their original packaging and condition. After 30 days, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Once we have received the returned items, we will promptly issue a refund to the credit card or PayPal account used for purchase.
Custom items are non-refundable and are exempt from being returned. Orders cancelled prior to the receipt of the proof will be refunded 75% of the order total. Orders cancelled after the proof has been submitted but prior to manufacturing will be refunded 50% of the order total. We are unable to refund orders that have been submitted for manufacturing.

I ordered this product because I saw it earlier in the season on Neiman’s website, and it was sold out. The picture on Brievity was of a gold necklace, which was also sold at Niemans. The product was shipped by USPS, so barely arrived before Christmas. When it finally arrived, it was not gold, it was steel and looked like something from a gum ball machine. The packaging was even worse- a gauzy tangled mess. The necklace was inserted backwards on the gauzy mess. It was embarrassing to gift and was not worth the price point.
I reached out to the customer via email, but wanted to follow up here, as well. The customer ordered the stainless steel finish (apparently mistakenly, but that is why she received the stainless steel version). As a small, one-person operation, I haven't had the time or resources to photograph every variant that I offer, but in general this has not been an issue for customers, since the variants (finish and size) are clearly labeled, along with the price for each variant. Upon receiving this review from the customer (12/29), I reached out and offered her a refund in the event that she wanted to return the necklace, which she declined, since the holidays had passed. Had she reached out to me when she received the package (12/21) to request either a return or an exchange for the gold plated version of the necklace, I would have happily accommodated, as it is always my desire that a customer be happy with their order.
It does sound like the package got jostled enough in transit that the necklace was no longer displayed properly in the gift box, which is unfortunate (however, it was not originally inserted backwards as alleged). The customer selected USPS as the shipping carrier, so that was how the item was shipped. This year, due to COVID and high shipping volume, USPS was really delayed in delivering packages, which was disappointing as someone who cares very much that my customers receive their orders in a timely manner. As a result of this holiday's issues with USPS, I will be adding Fedex as a carrier (I already have UPS), so that customers have a wider selection to choose from.
